Not sure if Mattress is able to function well in the kitchen, but a sense of adventure and fun should prove fruitful and successful if you endeavor this recipe:

My Grammie worked in a bakery for years, and I was fortunate to have learned literally at her knee. Grandmothers rule.

It might be a bit hard for me to work with phyllo dough. Perhaps Bwanette will help ….

Regarding Mattress: my concern noted above regards fire retardancy and does not mean to cast aspersions on Mattress’ domestic talents.

Phyllo is very easy to work with: just keep it chilled, work quickly, and keep a damp towel over what you’re not working on so it doesn’t dry out. (Alton Brown of “Good Eats” keeps a jelly roll pan in the freezer to act as temporary chiller if phyllo starts to get too warm). Here are some more tips that may prove helpful:
