Putting Your Kitchen on a Diet

Author Peter Walsh is best known for his role as a clutter expert and organization consultant on the popular television show “Clean Sweep.” His new book, “Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?,’’ focuses on how clutter in the home stands in the way of a more healthful lifestyle. One of his main suggestions is to clear clutter and toss out the useless appliances that get in the way of healthful food preparation in our kitchens. …

For me, it means parting ways with my George Foreman Grill, my toaster, a drawer full of cookie-cutters and a fondue pot I haven’t used in more than a year. …

Hokey smokey!

Not the toaster!

Toasters are ESSENTIAL kitchen implements. A kitchen without a toaster is like peanut butter without jelly! Getting rid of the toaster is like saying you don’t need to breathe air anymore!

You want to lose weight? Just eat less and get more exercise. This is not rocket science, people.

“Part ways with the toaster.”

Sheesh ….

I don’t agree with Mr. Walsh. Perhaps he needs an upgrade:

Comes in handy to feed Bwana AND listen to Uncle Dan!

Your site is so clever. I just found it by browsing the net, and regrettably now you have forced me to make some toast…..and a peanut butter jelly sandwich!!!!…lol
