I heard about what happened to Bwana’s mother.

I can only offer my sincerest condolences to you, Bwana, Toaster, and everyone else as all of you try to get through this time of great sadness.

I am so sorry about Toaster’s Grammie.

Tommy Lasorda used to refer to God as “the big Dodger in the sky.” I guess Mrs. Olbermann must be with the big Yankee in the sky now. Bwana’s perfect tribute broke my heart.

My deepest sympathy to all the Chez Bwana family.

Grammie was the best. She will always be the best.

She was a fun person to be with. And a good person: even though she loved the Yankees she didn’t hold it against Toaster that he loved the Mets. She allowed self-determination in her children and in her small appliances.

Bwana tells it better than any of us could:

A tape of Bwana saying he and most of the staff at MSNBC are going to Grammie’s memorial today was just broadcast. Ed Schultz is taking Bwana’s place tonite so they can all go. Wow. Bwana must be so touched. I hope it helps a little.
